A perennial legume with white flowers nearly all year long. Has prostrate stems that root freely. Grows 8-10 inches high.
Adaptability: White clover can be grown in full sun or partial shade in well drained soil with regular irrigation.
Uses: An ideal nurse crop for use in plantings with dichondra and other grasses. Useful in pasture mixes and for erosion control. Also used as a ground cover for flat or slope areas. Being a legume, white clover is able to take nitrogen from the air and fix it in the soil through action of bacteria on their roots.
Planting instructions: Seed should be lightly raked into the soil or covered with mulch. Water frequently but lightly until established.
