These pellets made from coconut fiber are a sustainable and environmental-friendly alternative to seedling trays and peat pellets for sowing seeds. Coco pellets also provide higher resistance to mold, 10 times faster water absorption, and holds more water and retains it longer, resulting in less watering. Fully covered with a 100% biodegradable net, coco substrate will be kept in shape by the thin net when it expands with water.

How to use Coco pellets:

Firstly soak the coco pellets in a warm water in the tray for 5-10min wait until they expand to about 4cm high then drain it. Then make a hole in the center of the pellet for the seed then plant one of them. The best place to keep sown pellets is on a windowsill which is sunny and a warm location.  coco pellets retain water longer, so only water when the pellets dries out and they change from dark brown to light . once a second pair of leaves has developed, plant the whole pellet in a container or garden patch.

Q: recently I got coco pallets from n marigold seeds. I sowed it in coco pallets as guided by you here but it did not germinate. What do you think where I went wrong. After sowing what all precautions to be taken. Should we keep it in shade or in sun? Pls guide me for future. Thanks.

A: Dear Renuka. Thank you for your query. The coco-pellets must be gently watered regularly, to keep it moist at all times. Allow the seeds to receive filtered sunlight for 2 to 3 hours.
