Capsicum is cultivated worldwide, and has become a key element in many regional cuisines.
In addition to use as spices and food vegetables, Capsicum species have also found use in medicines.
Ideal growing conditions for Capsicum include warm soil, ideally 21 to 35 °C, that is kept moist but not waterlogged.
Capsicum are sensitive to an abundance of moisture and excessive temperatures.
Small bushy plant about 40cm high The seeds are reluctant to start germinating if temperatures drop at night.
Then plant out when about 10 -12cm (4-5in) tall.
Tips for better yield:
*Sow seed at a depth approximately three times the diameter of the seed.
*Best planted at soil temperatures between 21°C and 35°C.
*Ideal Space for sowing between capsicum seeds: 100-150cm
