Christmas Cactus in Blue (Schlumbergera bridgessii): A beautiful Christmas Cactus in a blue mud pot. This is a great indoor plant and has segmented stem that bears colourful flowers at their ends. Blooms appear during Christmas time and hence the name!
Soil: Good sandy loam soil.
Light: Needs good indirect light for good blooms. Else can tolerate low lighting too.
Watering: Needs watering once in 3 – 4 days. Test the soil for moisture, if the soil appears dry, then water the plant.
Feeding: A weak all purpose feed once a month is more than sufficient.
Repotting: Repot if the plant has outgrown its pot it’s a good idea to repot in Spring.
Speed of Growth: Medium.
